’Break The Mold’ is a mixtape by DJ Bizkid, who was asked to compile Chicago tracks from Galapagos4 & extended family into one 80 minute mixtape. The result was ’Break The Mold’, an in-depth look into the past 10 years of innovation in Chicago hip-hop from the G4 perspective.
Featured are classics tracks, joints you may never have heard or forgot about, exclusive never before heard cuts from Robust & Hellsent, mixes, mashups and other Chicago related material all sewn together and sliced apart again by the skilled technician from Germany.
This is a tribute to Chicago from G4, as well as a look into our contributions to the music side of Chicago’s current cultural landscape.
